Every family has a story
HOODA is a private home online for your family tree. Add your parents, grandparents, children and grandchildren, invite relatives to look after their own branches, and find the family you've lost touch with — while dates of birth and private details stay with the people you choose.

How it works
- 1
Start your tree
Create a free account. You are the first person in your family tree, and its owner.
- 2
Add your family
Parents, partners, children and grandparents, with icons for births, marriages and those who have passed away.
- 3
Hand over branches
When your son or daughter grows up, invite them to take over their own branch from the same record — no new tree needed, and you still see their family.
- 4
Find your relatives
Search other families by name, year and place. Ask to join, and the owner decides. Private details stay private either way.
A living family tree
One chart from the eldest generation to the newest arrival, with marriages, partners and life events, that grows with your family.
Private by design
Every sign-in needs a password and an emailed code. Full dates of birth are only shown to the people who look after that branch — never in search, never to members who joined by request.
Branches that connect
When two relatives add the same grandfather, HOODA spots the likely duplicate and helps you join the records, so the branches meet.

HOODA started as one family's tree, in honour of Late Shri Surat Singh Hooda, Late Shri Prem Singh Hooda and Shri Dharm Singh Hooda. Now it's open to every family that wants to keep its story.
